The People's Hall Constitution

We the forumers, of The People's Hall forum, do hereby decree that from this day forth we shall have sole ownership over the forum created by Parasky during the great Sons of Liberty Rift. We shall stand united against all forms of spam, criticism, and oppression. We shall stand to protect the philosophies of free speech, free thought, and the right to express our ideas amongst our peers. We shall stand for the forces of democracy and equality, to promote a more peaceful world and to defend the peace at all costs.

The People's Hall forum shall be ruled by a President and Vice President elected by a process of democratic voting by their fellow forumers. The President and Vice President shall be granted the Rights of Administration, with which they shall carry out the wishes of the forumers. The President shall have the right to alter the rules accordingly to meet the needs and wishes of the forumers, however the Bill of Rules shall be the basis of our union, and shall not be altered in any way, shape, or form. It is through a process of democratic voting that rules shall be added, altered, or created. The Vice President shall be the Second-in-Command of the forum, and shall only act as an administrator if the President resigns, leaves, or enters a long period of inactivity. In the event that the President resigns or leaves, the Vice President shall assume status of President and select a new President from the current moderators of the forum. Any forumer may run for President, so long as they have not been banned before. The President shall be the winner in the election, with the runner up becoming Vice President.

The moderators shall act as the enforcers of the rules and the protectors of the forum. The task of keeping a thread on topic and ridding the forum of spam and off-topic threads shall rest solely on their shoulders. Any forumer may apply for moderation status, and shall be considered by his peers to be worthy or unworthy of such a title. If deemed unworthy, the forumer cannot apply for moderationship again, and can only be granted moderationship if recommended by one of his peers. If recommended the process of democracy shall occur again.
